My name is Nicky K. I’m a 25-year-old Las Vegas artist who has been creating professionally for 11 years. Ever since I was little, I was always fascinated by cameras. I used to record on our old camcorder, even though there was no tape in it. It was the imagination of capturing exactly what I was seeing, and experiencing. Once I was able to finally playback what I was recording, and share the memory again, everything clicked. I learned to start editing in high school, and I loved the fact that I could structure the piece of media exactly how I envisioned it to be. I began to capture chapters of my life throughout the years. Then, I started sharing my work for other people to see. I saw how those memories connected with individuals and I’ve always thought that was a magical thing. Especially when I communicate things through my art and people resonate with the message somehow. Ever since the beginning, this has been my passion. To capture my experiences create my visions, and allow people to relate and connect with them.
